Park and Ducks

Got together with Cara and Reese and Reagan a few weeks ago to feed the ducks and play at the park!

Playing at Joshua's

Sometimes on Saturday mornings Travis will get together with Lawrence Kelley and Brian Goff and go Bike Riding. One morning they were meeting over at the Kelley's house, so we tagged along and the boys got to play with Joshua. They had a lot of fun playing the instruments :)

August and September Random Pics

Just playing in the rain...

Such a serious pose from my boys!

I told Ty it was time to take a nap and then got distracted getting Rex a drink. I found Ty sitting in the glider waiting for me so he could be rocked for a few minutes- so sweet!!!

So I remember Rex telling me that he was tired and that he was going to go take a nap. I was like, yah, yah, yah...well I noticed it was quiet and I went looking for the two musketeers- this is what I found... Rex enjoying his "nap" in Tyson's crib...

...and poor Tyson was left to fend for himself on the floor! Poor guy! Had to use wipes for a pillow!

...he didn't seem to mind :)

First Day of Preschool

I'm so behind! So much has happened! In my defense, we have been having some computer issues. I will try and catch up...things may be a little out of order :)

Let's start with Preschool. Yep, we enrolled Rex in a 3 year old program. He LOVES it! He asks everyday to go and every night he asks if he has "playschool" in the morning. It's so wonderful!
I have to be honest with you though...the first day was AWEFUL- so aweful, I didn't think they wanted Rex to come back. The two and a half hours included screaming, crying, kicking, running out of the room...etc. He was the only one- I'm not just saying that, he was the ONLY one acting this way. They told me to leave and they would call me if they needed me. They never called, but apparantly the morning was trying on everyone. With a lot of bribing (riding the tractor, gum, popcorn, sleeping in the frog tent with daddy in the living room, and watching a thomas video)and praying, he made it through the second day like a champ and has had a wonderful time ever since!
Oh! I almost forgot. We went to an open house the evening before his first day so he could meet his teacher, etc. Everyone was really excited to be there and everyone was really friendly. If you know Rex, you know that he has never met a stranger and he can be quite silly at times. So that evening if anyone asked him what his name was he replied very matter of factly, "Mater". Like from the movie Cars. Oh Brother! Fortunatly everyone knew who Mater was and laughed it off.
Here are a couple of pics from his first and second day of school...Travis came to drop him off the second day :)
