Chaney's Dairy Barn

Phew! It was a hot day...but we had fun at the annual antique tractor show at Chaney's Dairy Barn. Rex enjoyed riding some ride on tractors and sitting on a big tractor that belongs to some friends of ours from church. We all enjoyed a scoop of Chaney's ice cream and the fiddle performance by some of the kids there. We got there too late for the kids cow milking contest...oh well, maybe next year :)

Rex and The Big Jet!

Our good friend Jad flew this jet into Bowling Green a few weeks ago. Rex thought it was pretty cool to sit up front and look at all the controls. All the way to our little airport here in Bowling Green he kept saying, "Oh the big jet...big jet...Rex fly big jet...big jet in the sky!" It was very exciting!

Rex's 2nd Birthday!

We can't believe our little boy has turned 2!!! I asked Rex what he would like to eat for his birthday and he told me pizza, peas, and fruit...soooo that's what we had. Rex really likes Bob the Builder, so Bob was the theme for our little family gathering. I ran to get the decorations for his party Sunday afternoon and when I got home Rex was playing upstairs with Aunt Kate. I set the table and tied his balloons to his chair and got everything else set up before he came down. I heard him coming down the stairs and when he turned and saw the dining room his eyes got really big and he said, "OOHHHH this is AWESOME!!!" So cute! I wish I had it on video...oh well.

YUMMY YUMMY the boys agreed. Both Rex and Reese really enjoyed their angel food cake with strawberries, blueberries, and whip cream!
