Halloween 2009

What a fun Halloween! Our festivities started the 30th at the Bouldin's home. The girls had a great idea to get some of the kids together and dress them up and take pics. Unfortunately Tyson wasn't feeling it, so here are all the kiddos minus Tyson- he was busy in the TeePee.

Abbey Bouldin, Ethan Rubel, Rex, Alana Goodbar, Maddie Graber, Emmy Graber, Carter Kerr, Molly Kerr, and Mason Dew

It was a fun night for the parents and the kiddos!

We have heard for the past couple years of "Pumpkin Alley". It's actually 3 blocks over from us- the street is closed from all traffic and the median going down the street is lined with carved pumpkins, so cute! There had to be 200-300 people walking up and down the street- it was so much fun!

Rex in front of Pumpkin Alley

Knocking...Rex wasn't into it at first- he was sleepy. Tyson, however, was up for it- all we had to say is, "Tyson, do you want some candy?"

I can't believe this is the only pic I have of both the boys and neither one of them looks happy...and I looked possessed.

Rex getting candy...I love his face! :)

Tyson was eating candy as quickly as he was getting it. Every time we looked at him he had another piece of candy in his mouth. I think he had 3 suckers...maybe 4 :) We finally had to take his pumpkin from him.
Tyson, what are you eating now?

Jackson's Orchard Pumpkin Festival

I love going to Jackson's Orchard!!! I look forward to it every fall. It gets more and more fun every year as the kids get older...so much to do! This year the animals and the slide were our boys favorite :)

Tyson LOVES animals- he really enjoyed being around all of them. Here he is with a llama...

...goats...

...and bunnies. There was a separate fenced area where the kids could get in the pen with the bunnies and hold them. Apparantly the animal control/cruelty people were not there...check out the poor bunnies that were being handled by my boys!!!

Tyson trying to get the bunny...

Rex got one!

...umm you are squeezing him just a little too tight! Look at his eyes!!!

Tyson still trying to get a bunny...

...got one!!!!

...I just don't know what to say about this picture.

Weiner Rice Festival

Time for the Weiner Rice Festival!!! Every 2nd weekend in October we travel to Jonesboro/Weiner for the Rice Festival. It's always been a lot of fun, but this year by far was the best. We had so much fun with the kids! Now that the kids are older, we are able to be out and do more- it was great!

Blowing on Daddy's pitch pipe...his eyes!!!!

ok...so this is when Rex was in the hospital to get his tonsils and adenoids removed. The nurse had just given him his "happy juice", so he was feeling mighty fine. This particular moment was quite humerous...he stood up (which at this point was difficult to do- he was acting like he was drunk) and looked at the nurse and said, "Do you want to see me make bubbles? ...don't worry it's just water in my mouth." He said this with slurred speech and everything- I thought Travis and I were going to fall over. It was F U N N Y!!!

Alzheimer's Walk

The bank Travis works for helped raise money for Alzheimer's. So we all joined in on the walk :)

Travis rode his bike to the park and back home again...I snapped this picture of him on the road...
